'If you thought kebabs only had to do with Meat then you are in for a huge surprise. There are a huge variety of Vegetarian kebabs in India. Here i have made a vegetarian version of Shammi kebabs with black gram/Kala chana. Kala chana has so many benefits overall including lowering the risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer obesity and digestive problems. A cup of Kala chana has 45g of carbs, 12g of fiber and 46g of protein( incomplete protein) which means if consumed with other plant foods such whole grains and vegetables then you can get the right amount of protein.
